Role Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Frontend AI Engineer to contribute to the development of the Creative Agent, a core product at POWER.xyz.
This role focuses on building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces powered by advanced AI systems (including Claude and other LLMs). You will work at the intersection of frontend engineering and AI, crafting seamless creative experiences and integrating intelligent behaviors directly into the product.
You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers, ML engineers, and designers to bring AI-driven features to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend features for the Creative Agent (React / modern frameworks)
- Integrate AI systems (especially Claude and other LLM APIs) into user-facing workflows
- Design and implement responsive, real-time, and interactive UI/UX for creative tools
- Collaborate with ML and backend teams to connect models to production interfaces
- Prototype new AI-powered features and iterate quickly based on feedback
- Optimize performance, usability, and reliability of frontend systems
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frameworks (React preferred)
- Experience integrating APIs (REST, streaming, real-time interactions)
- Familiarity with LLMs (especially Claude) and prompt-based workflows
- Strong product sense and attention to user experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI-native interfaces (chat, copilots, generative UI)
- Familiarity with design systems and frontend architecture best practices
- Understanding of how LLMs behave in production (latency, prompting, UX patterns)
- Interest in creative tools, media, or content generation
